well my name is Lyra Rose. I've been dancing since i was 9 and have improved so so much over the years. i love performing. i act, i'm not the theatrical type but i love acting and have gotten good enough that i'm now represented by an LA agency. In school i'm not one of those supergeniuses, i think i'm very smart compared to a lot of the other kids but i've never had all A's in my life, right now i have a B and all A's but that's the highest its ever been in my life. I think the main source of this might be somewhat from my dyslexia (not fun), but then again it could be the fact that i dont study at all, never have, probably rarely will. It's not that i'm lazy; but between all the hours of dance every day (give or take 13 hrs a week, it used to be a lot more), photographic memory, and sort of like an audiographic memory (i hear something once and its memorised, like a photgraphic memory but for hearing), and acting, i really don't have the time or need. I'm learning 3 languages; French in school currently, Spanish i took all last year and now my current school won't let me take 2 languages so i have to learn it outside of school, and Polish. I also am extremely imaginative and artisitc. It shows through my dance, acting and drawings (which i display on a website called deviantart). and yes i am left handed. other people say i see things in a 'different' way, and i guess theyre right; for an example of misery: my mum is EXTREMELY conservative and paranoid, she wants me to be her straight A student, prima ballerina, oscar nominated actress that will never date or have a boyfriend and in her eyes be PERFECT. I on the other hand am VERY unconservative, dont get me wrong, i dont agree with obama at all, i have some sense, and even though i would like to have all a's and be a better dancer and such, i don't agree with pretty much everything my mum thinks/believes/morals/etc.
in other words: not fun, not easy, not normal.
And it's not like my younger brother or dad agree with me either, a few of my friends even don't, i'm stuck in a world of my own. a world full of music, dance, imagination, love and war.
so please don't judge me wrong, just try to understand me. :)
